Good fellowship and reliable partnership

A delegation from the People's Republic of China has arrived at the BSAA today. Representatives of Northwestern University of Agriculture and Forestry, and Chunhua County paid an official visit to the academy. The parties discussed the results of fruitful five-year cooperation and determined a plan of joint activities until 2030.

The first vice-rector of the academy Andrei Kolmykov addressed the dear guests with a welcoming speech. A.Kolmykov briefly acquainted the arrivals with the history of the university and spoke about its importance for the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus. Members of the delegation were also shown a video presentation in Chinese on the activities of the BSAA and its achievements.

Then, the parties discussed issues related to further scientific cooperation, exchange of experience and promising commercial partnership, stressing that they found in each other not only good friends, but also reliable conscientious allies.

During the visit, representatives of the PRC got acquainted with the experience of scientific and educational activities of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, visited the exhibition hall of the branch of the National Bank of Plant Genetic Resources of the Republic of Belarus, scientific and practical laboratories, the scientific and educational center "Digital animal husbandry," a training and practical center for environmental management and construction at the Faculty of Land Reclamation and Construction, the Department of ichthyology and fish farming, as well as a botanical garden and a university museum.

On the basis of the educational and scientific center "Experimental fields of the Belarusian Agricultural Academy" today, the Chinese-Belarusian scientific and technical space for the modernization of agriculture was laid, which in the future will become the basis for new joint projects.
