Specialists of the Gorki regional police department met with foreign students of the academy

Autumn is traditionally a busy time for the Faculty of International Relations and Pre-University Education. At this time, the ranks of the Academy students are actively replenished by foreign citizens who want to study at BSAA and who begin their journey to the profession with Russian language courses. In the current academic year, the geography of foreign students arriving for study includes such countries as Afghanistan, China, Eritrea, Ethiopia.

The Academy helps students from abroad to adapt to the new and unfamiliar environment, by organizing meetings, which the administration of the faculty holds in cooperation with the specialists of the Gorki District Department of Internal Affairs. On November 21, 2023, the meeting was held with the participation of the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Pre-University Education Alexander Pashkevich and the Inspector of Citizenship and Migration Office, Police Captain Yuri Senkov.

During the event, which always take place in a business-like and friendly atmosphere, the participants received up-to-date information and answers to questions of interest to students about the most important articles of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons on the territory of  Belarus, responsibility of foreign citizens for committing offenses, and also heard recommendations to prevent the commission of fraudulent actions, crimes in the field of drug trafficking. They received practical advice on safe behavior in public places as well.
