The forum was held online

On November 17-18, 2022, the forum was held online. The main topic was the experience of the People's Republic of China in the development of rural regions and the fight against poverty.

At the beginning of the Forum, participants were offered a film about the Yangling agricultural model zone, which is located near the city of Xi'an in Shaanxi province in north-west China.  This zone was created on the initiative of Chinese President Xi Jinping. With an area of more than 46 hectares, the zone is one of the educational and practical bases at the SCO Demonstration Park for the exchange and training of agricultural technologies. The Northwestern Scientific and Technical University of Agriculture and Forestry and other well-known agricultural universities in China, seed production companies and groups for the development of innovative agricultural technologies are registered at this Demonstration Site. Yangling organizes and conducts training on agricultural technologies for 110 countries and regions of the world.

Welcoming speeches were made by: Representative of the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia, Head of the Office of Foreign Affairs of the People's Government of Shaanxi Province, Head of the Office for the Revival of Rural Regions of Shaanxi Province, Head of the Administration of the Party Working Committee of the Yangling Demonstration Zone.

The following lectures were related to the topic of the forum - the fight against poverty in rural regions of China: politics and practice. The forum participants were given the opportunity to listen to lectures in Chinese, Russian or English.

Academy staff, lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, and Master students took part in the forum.

The organizers of the forum sent presentations of speeches to the forum participants in Russian for closer study.
