The Economic Faculty hosted the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference

The dynamic development of world research requires scientists to be flexible in scientific research, regardless of their field of activity. Innovations should be promoted for discussion within scientific community without delay. Therefore, conferences in this area are traditionally held at the Faculty of Economics, and they have become demanded events. In modern conditions of computer technology development, online and correspondence scientific conferences are mainly held.

On May 13-15, 2020, the Economic Faculty hosted the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference "RELEVANT PROBLEMS OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRICULTURAL COMPLEX OF BELARUS," dedicated to the 180th anniversary of BSAA. The conference worked in the following areas:

- Formation of an effective economic strategy in the field of innovation and the main directions for improving foreign economic activity in the field of agricultural production;

- Innovation management at the current stage of development of the agricultural complex of the Republic of Belarus;

- Economic and mathematical modelling of economic systems and its role in improving innovation efficiency of agricultural enterprises;

- Organizational and economic conditions of innovative development of agricultural production in the Republic of Belarus;

- Economic theory and agrarian policy in the context of innovative development of agro-industrial complex.

The reports will be published in the collection of materials of the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference. The conference was attended by university and technical schools’ teachers, postgraduate students, researchers and producers from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Ukraine, and Poland.
