Online meeting on training distant courses

On June 15, 2020, within the framework of the implementation of the ERASMUS +/BELL Programme International Project "Enhancement of Lifelong Learning in Belarus", an online meeting was held on training the distance course "Fundamentals of Legal Literacy". The meeting was attended by EU partners Heiko Fritz (Sweden, Linnaeus University), co-developers and course teachers from higher educational establishments of the Republic of Belarus (Elena Lazarchuk and Svetlana Noskova (BSAA), Kristina Savitskaya (PSU), Svetlana Katsuba and Yuri Kolesnik (GSTU), and an external expert from the Ukrainian Vasily Stefanik Precarpathian National University Lyubov Zinyuk as well. The participants noted the high theoretical and methodological level of the material proposed for study, as well as its practical orientation to a wide audience that does not have fundamental academic knowledge and skills in the field of legal knowledge. Based on the results of the meeting, steps were developed to improve the course "Fundamentals of Legal Literacy" and ensure its sustainability in the future.

The meetings like that were also held in June 2020 on other distance courses of the project, such as "The English Language," "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy", "Information Security", "Energy Saving and Resource Conservation in Everyday Life as a Direction for Reducing Utility Payments".

In general, according to the results of training the first group of students in all distance courses, the project showed its demand and viability. Thanks to the feedback from the participants and their comments, all distance courses have been improved. But the implementation of the project does not end there.

In the middle of August 2020, a new set of groups for training in distance courses is planned. The courses will be as follows: "Fundamentals of Legal Literacy", "The English Language", "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy", "Information Security", "Energy Saving and Resource Conservation in Everyday Life as a Direction for Reducing Utility Payments".
