The Republic of Indonesia announces competition to participate in training programmes in Indonesia

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia begins the selection for the Developing Countries Partnership Scholarships Programme (KNB) for students from over 100 countries worldwide, including the Republic of Belarus.

What is a KNB scholarship?

This is a programme which has been developed with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technologies of the Republic of Indonesia, the purpose of which is to strengthen relations between Indonesia and other countries of the Partnership, as well as the creation of a global network of future leaders.

Indonesia's top universities take part in the programme, including Institut Pertanian Bogor, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Hasanuddin, Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Universitas Lampung, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Universitas Negeri Malang, Universitas Negeri Semarang, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Universitas Sanata Dharma, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Universitas Telkom, Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya.

A variety of faculties and specialties are available to choose from, both humanitarian and technical. The scholarship includes:

- Tuition fees;

- Monthly living expenses;

- Purchasing training materials;

- Health insurance;

- Flight in both directions.

Who can register?

The scholarship is open to citizens from developing countries corresponding to academic and age requirements specified in the programme description.

Selection Process Schedule:

January 22, 2024 - Registration begins

February 23, 2024 - Registration Deadline

June 10, 2024 - Announcement of the names of the participants who successfully passed the selection.

Number of scholarships offered in 2024:

30 scholarships for undergraduate programmes (S1);

162 scholarships for master's degree programmes (S2); and

30 scholarships for postgraduate/doctoral programmes (S3).

Prepare all the necessary documents and perform the specified registration steps.
