The time of the firsts

On July 14, the Meeting of Youth Leaders from the Mogilev Region "The Time of the Firsts" was solemnly launched on the square of the Cultural Centre of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy.

         21 teams took part in the event. Among them there were representatives of the younger generation from all districts of the Mogilev region: the cities of Mogilev and Bobruisk, teams of regional youth structures, whose participants are chairmen or members of the Youth Councils of the districts, city associations of trade unions, members of the Youth Parliaments at the district (city) Councils of deputies, district structures of the NGO "BRSM," district organizations of the NGO "Belaya Rus", aged 18 to 31 years.

The meeting of youth leaders has been held for the first time, and it is especially honorable that it takes place on our Gorki land, within the walls of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy.

The programme of the event turned out to be rich. On the first day, the teams took part in table tennis competition, air rifle shooting, the captains’ competition "A Sharp Footballer», and the sports relay. The evening ended with an excursion around the academic campus, a karaoke battle "Hits of Youth," an intellectual tournament "Youth Quiz".

On the second day, the youth teams took part in the work of thematic sections "Leader of Opinions" and specialized dialogue platforms of public associations: trade union organization, NGO BRSM, NGO "Belaya Rus." And the morning of July, 15 began with a flash mob exercises "Cheerful morning!"

All teams showed themselves at their highest level, performed well-coordinated work, the ability to hear and listen and zeal for victory. The prizes are distributed as follows:

1st place - Krugloye district "Drive"

2nd place - Cherikov district

3rd place - Mstislavl district

The team of Gorki district became the winner in table tennis competition, and took 13th position in the overall standings.
