Student Training Practice at the State University on Land Management

In the period from July 26 to July 28, 2022, the students of the 2nd year of the land management faculty of the academy underwent training in the discipline "Geodetic support of land management and cadastral work" at the “Chkalovsky” geodetic training ground, which is located in the Shchelkovo district of the Moscow region.

This training ground has all the necessary infrastructure: teaching houses, student houses and a dining room.

During the course of the training practice, a safety briefing was held with students. The students were divided into 2 teams of 5.

In the process of the practice, the skills of handling geodetic instruments and accessories were fixed; preparatory, field and office work were carried out.

During the preparatory work, instruments were checked, data were prepared for the project to be taken to the area according to the issued design assignment, which consisted in the design of land plots of the same area.

Field work was carried out by a theodolite 4T30P and an electronic tachometer Leica builder 509. Office work on the construction of a planned basis was carried out in AutoCAD software.

This training practice is good practical experience for independent activity of students of land management faculty. The exchange of experience in performing geodetic works between the Russian and Belarusian students was also very fruitful.

On July 29, 2022 the students defended their reports by results of which they received excellent marks for the work done.

The conference where students gave reports on the faculty and the academy's geodetic ground was the final stage of practical training. It attracted interest and put prerequisites for further cooperation in practical training of the students.
