"DEFENDER OF THE FATHERLAND"

On May 31, the annual academic military-patriotic holiday "Defender of the Fatherland" was held, in which more than 250 students took part.

The event was dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The competition included three stages. The first was a military relay (running 120 m, throwing a grenade, shooting from an air rifle at targets, pulling up, transferring the victim). The second is a review of the formation. The third is the marching step with a song.

The event was attended by all faculties of the academy, including foreign students. Children from the Center for Student Art showed their artistic performances, and the team of the academic club "Defender" also performed for the audience.

According to the results of the competition, the best faculties were determined: the third place went to the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, the second - to the Land Management Faculty, and the first were representatives of the Agronomy Faculty.

All the teams were awarded diplomas and sweet prizes.

The organizers of the holiday were the primary organization with the rights of the district committee BRYU BSAA, the Center for Student Art, the Department of Physical Education and Sports, the Military Commissariat of Gorki and Dribin districts, the Department for Educational work with the Youth of the Academy, the District Department for Emergency Situations.
