Selection science - arguments for import substitution of seeds and the basis for food security

As you know, as a man sows, so shall he reap. And the commotion around foreign seeds on the eve of sowing forced Belarusian farmers to reconsider their approach to harvest sources and abandon imports in favor of Belarusian material, the STV "Nedelya" programme reported.

According to many scientists, addiction to imported material is a matter of habit. After all, Belarusians are reluctant to experiment even in their country house beds. And for the past 20 years, our scientists have actively prepared the ground for scientific discoveries. Special attention was paid to multifunctional plants.
