Videoconference of Hubei Technological University and the Belarusian State the Orders of the October Revolution and the Labour Red Banner Agricultural Academy

On March 31, 2022, a video conference was held between the Hubei Technological University (PRC) and the Belarusian State the Orders of the October Revolution and the Labour Red Banner Agricultural Academy. At the meeting the academy was represented by the first vice-rector Andrei Kolmykov, the dean of the faculty of international relations and pre-university education Alexander Pashkevich, the dean of the faculty of economics Irina Shafranskaya, and the deputy dean of the faculty of international relations and pre-university education Dmitry Rachikov.

Hubei University of Technology is a state higher educational institution. The university was founded in 1956. The campus of the institution is located in Wuhan. The university educates students in 50 specialities. The most popular areas of study are design, technology, automation, electrical engineering, bioengineering.

During the conference, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of teaching economic specialities. The dialogue touched upon the possibilities of organizing training under joint programmes, the prospects for academic exchange, and teaching Chinese students the Russian language. Preliminary agreements have been reached on the upcoming activities; preparations have begun for the signing of a bilateral cooperation agreement.
