Let’s Keep Good Traditions

Good traditions… The word “good” speaks volumes itself. Eyes that radiate love and happiness sow good around them. The good that comes deep from the heart. We were lucky to see faces with such eyes at the Vitebsk Veterinary Academy, which welcomed guests on March, 22, 2022.

A meeting at the spring festival Novruz Bayram at the Vitebsk Veterinary Academy became a constant good tradition for foreign students. Every year, the city of Vitebsk invites singing, caring hearts, and they rush to meet this wonderful holiday when spring begins to awaken.

The event started with the greeting speech of Rector of the Academy N.I.Gavrichenko, who congratulated everyone on the holiday and expressed gratitude to the heads of universities who had found the opportunity to delegate students to the spring festival Novruz Bayram. The festival participants were also congratulated by the representative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan.

Our faculty was represented by the students from Turkmenistan, Farkhat Rustemov and Vepadjan Pakhrutdinov (invariable public favourites who can make everybody dance); Bibiniyaz Hodjayeva and Suray Dadebayeva (the girls cooked national dishes); Madina Mahsimova, the student from Uzbekistan, helped to organize an exhibition of masters of fine arts, crafts, and national costumes; Ezekiel Oluwarotimi Tella from Nigeria charmed the audience playing the saxophone; and the youngest participant Bolortuya Ariunbayar from Mongolia conquered the hearts of listeners with her singing.
