International scientific and practical seminars at the Faculty of Amelioration and Construction

On February 8 and 9, 2022, in accordance with the plan for scientific events and order No.22-OD of February 3, 2022, international scientific and practical seminars were held on the basis of the Faculty of Amelioration and Construction on the topics: "Innovations in Reclamation Design and Construction in the Republic of Belarus," "Innovative Management in Reclamation Design, Construction and Systems Operation".

A welcoming speech was made by the dean of the Faculty of Reclamation and Construction, Yuri Dubrova.

The following participants took part in the seminar and discussed the offered issues:

Yuri Mazhaysky, chief researcher at the Meshchery branch of All-Russian Research Institution of Hydraulic Engineering and Land Reclamation, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, professor; Mikhail Golubenko, Honored Inventor of the Russian Federation; Viktor Lukashevich, associate professor of the Department of Reclamation and Water Management, Ph.D. in agriculture; Alexander Kukresh, Head of the HTC and Water Supply Department of BSAA, Ph.D., in Agriculture, Associate Professor; Olesya Tishkovich, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Rural Construction and land Improvement of the Educational Establishment "Belarusian State the Orders of the October Revolution and the Labour Red Banner Agricultural Academy," Master in Agricultural Science, and other invited lecturers.

Mikhail Golubenko spoke about the features of patent science, the need to register them and the intricacies of working with them.

During the long creative activity of Mikhail Golubenko, more than 228 designs and devices have been included in the collections of scientific works and catalogues; and more than 316 inventions and improvements (individual and co-authored) were published.

For great achievements in science and technology obtained as a result of the introduction of inventions in the field of hydro-melioration and agriculture with significant economic effect, the Administration of the Vladimir Region in 2014 nominated Mikhail Golubenko as a candidate for the honorary title "Honored Inventor of the Russian Federation." The Russian President Vladimir Putin by Decree No. 369 of July 16, 2015 awarded Mikhail Golubenko the honorary title "Honored Inventor of the Russian Federation" for many years of fruitful inventive activity.  The honorary badge "Honored Inventor of the Russian Federation" and "Certificate for the State Award of the Russian Federation" was presented by the Governor of the Vladimir Region Svetlana Orlova.

In his closing remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Amelioration and Construction, Yuri Dubrova noted the importance of these seminars for young scientists of the faculty.
