Online training on the use of digital technologies in Korean agriculture

On November 25-26, 2021, scientists, lecturers, undergraduate students and postgraduates of the academy took part in an online training programme developed with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) of the Republic of Korea and the Embassy of Korea in the Republic of Belarus.

The purpose of the programme "Smart Agriculture with the Use of Digital Technologies in the Republic of Korea" is acquaintance with the current and perspective directions of digital technologies in agriculture as well as  representation of examples of the use of digital technologies in crop production, livestock production and in chains: production - processing - distribution - capacity building.

On the first day of the seminar, the latest trends in the use of digital technologies in agriculture in Korea were represented, such as artificial intelligence, automated robots, and a smart farm. One of the presentations was devoted to modern trends in research in the field of precision navigation and remote sensing, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, machines with kinematics, and GPS.

The seminars covered such topics as smart farming in open-soil crop production, a smart livestock farm for cattle, pigs, poultry, the use of digital technologies in the processing and distribution of products, the analysis of the necessary data for the use of digital technologies for the diagnosis of crop diseases.

The participants of online training will receive certificates.
