Opening of mini-football field

On October 22, the sports base of the academy was replenished with one more sporting facility, which had appeared thanks to the cooperation of our academy and the Belarusian Football Federation. On the place where once was a tennis court, employees of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, and subdivisions of the administrative department prepared the basis for a training mini-football (futsal) field. The artificial covering and fencing for it were provided by the Football Federation of Belarus.

Despite the windy weather, guests of honor, students, staff and teachers of the academy gathered at the opening of the sports object. Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Elena KOLESNEVA, rector of the educational establishment "Belarusian State the Orders of the October Revolution and the Labor Red Banner Agricultural Academy" Vitaly VELIKANOV, head of the Sporting Events Support Department of the Association "Belarusian Football Federation" Ivan GOROVETS took part in the event.

When speaking to those present, the honoured guests outlined the role of the state in creating the conditions for playing sports, and popularizing a healthy lifestyle. They wished everyone good health and success in their studies. The guests noted that the new mini-football field will serve as a good incentive to reach the highest peaks. The guests of honour did not forget about gifts. Aka-demy athletes received sets of balls and sets of sports uniforms.

So, the red ribbon was cut, the first hitting the ball was made, and the field was officially opened. Let it serve for a long time to students and employees of the Aka-demy, as well as to all fans of sports.
