Strengthening international cooperation

Within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the educational establishment "Belarusian State the Orders of the October Revolution and the Labor Red Banner Agricultural Academy" and CLAAS KGaA mbH, Ivan Gusarov, senior lecturer of the Department of Agricultural Machines, was invited to conduct training according to the FOCUS CAMP Ukraine 2021 project.

FOCUS CAMP Ukraine 2021 was held from July 12 to 30, 2021 in Kiev region, Belaya Tserkov district, in the urban-type settlement TEREZINO with the support of CLAAS ACADEMY (Germany) and the Marketing and Sales Department of Ukraine (CLAAS UKRAINE).

The main purpose of this event was to prepare CLAAS dealers for professional marketing activities, as well as for professional and successful presentations of CLAAS equipment. Special attention was paid to the main product groups: harvesters, tractors, press selectors and telescopic loaders.

FOCUS CAMP Ukraine 2021 introduced the LEXION 7700, LEXION 6800 combine harvesters. Besides, the new TRION 730 combine harvester was shown for the first time. All combine harvesters were equipped with the latest electronic system CEMOS AUTOMATIC (automatic adjustment of the combine harvester systems when the harvesting conditions change). Also during FOCUS CAMP, the XERION 5000, AXION 950, AXION 850, ARION 640C tractors, the SCORPION 741 telescopic loader, QUADRANT 5300 RF, VARIANT 480 RC presses were involved. All presented machines and their electronic systems are the latest developments of CLAAS, and some of them have no analogues in the world.

The main task assigned to Ivan Gusarov was to train CLAAS UKRAINE employees to operate and configure all the machines presented within FOCUS CAMP. During the training period, the CLAAS ACADEMY team trained 11 CLAAS technicians, as well as more than 40 CLAAS dealers and marketers working in the Ukraine.

During the training, Ivan Gusarov showed not only deep theoretical knowledge regarding the configuration and operation of agricultural machines, but also confirmed them in practice.

This suggests that the teaching staff of BSAA mechanization faculty are not just theorists who can only conduct lectures and teach students. These are people who can apply their knowledge in practice, share their skills not only with students of the academy, but also adequately represent our academy even when conducting training at the international level using the most modern technology.
