Practical experience of student exchange at the Faculty of Land Management

In accordance with the agreement on cooperation between the State University for Land Management (Moscow) and the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy a training practice was organized at the Faculty of Land Management.  Six students of the 2nd year of  the speciality "Land Management and Cadastre" of the State University for Land Management (Moscow) from July 19, 2021 to July 31, 2021 had their training in the discipline "Geodetic support of land management and cadastral works".

Upon arrival in Gorki, the students and the head of the practice L.Petrova were met by the rector of the Academy V.V.Velikanov and the first vice-rector A.V. Kolmykov. The guests got acquainted with Belarusian students, learnt about the material and technical base of the Faculty of Land Management and the Academy, as well as about infrastructure of the academic campus and the city of Gorki.

During the practice, students studied the geographic information resources that are used in land management and cadastral work in accordance with the legislative framework of the Republic of Belarus. They began to carry out field work to compile a planning and mapping basis for the territory of the academic campus.

The program of practice provides for the performance of all types of geodetic work during the survey of land plots and real estate objects of the academic campus, the processing of survey materials and the compilation of a planning and mapping basis, the design of land management in accordance with the legislation of our country.

In order to obtain information on the work of production enterprises, the students, together with the head of practice, are scheduled to visit the production enterprises for land management and the land cadastre of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

We hope that this experience of exchanging students on practical training will be successful and will be continued in the development of international relations between the State University for Land Management of Moscow and the Land Management Faculty of our Academy.
