Women for Belarus!

On September 17, the Minsk Arena sports complex hosted the Women for Belarus Forum! The Forum brought together thousands of women of different spheres and professions from all over the country. The forum was also attended by students and teachers of our academy. During the Forum, representatives of various social groups and professions - teachers, doctors, educators, employees of state institutions, wives of officers and military servicewomen - spoke on the stage of the sports complex, which seats about 15 thousand people. The addresses of the forum participants alternated with the performances of Belarusian musical groups and singers.

The incredible energy of this evening was supported by Anatoly Yarmolenko, the Aura group, Irina Dorofeeva, Alena Lanskaya. The organizers prepared a surprise: the favorite of women - the golden voice of Russia - singer Nikolai Baskov lit the Arena.

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko unexpectedly appeared on the stage when the forum was coming to an end and its participants accepted his appeal to the people of the Republic of Belarus and the international community to protect the sovereignty of the country.

"The first and most important thing why I came here: I really appreciate what is happening now in this hall. You can't even imagine what a bright page in the history of new Belarus you've added by this action, having come from all corners of our small, but very cozy, beautiful, and wonderful Homeland. You write our history. And it is good that this bright, beautiful, principled, not corrupt, real page will be spelled out, " said the head of state.

"You said very correctly - for the first time in the centuries-old, millennial history of our ancient people, we have gained this sovereignty and this independence. I realize we don't live very well. But we're not beggars. Because we have this country. If we now flinch and lose this piece of land, we will not only die, but our children and grandchildren will die as well. Therefore, you are right: we will not give up Belarus! Because we love her, and they do not give away their beloved! "- said the Belarusian leader.

The forum ended with the anthem of the Republic of Belarus.
