Meetings in work communities

On July 20, 2020, meetings of employees of Belarusian State Agricultural Academy were held with the deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Elena Kolesneva.

When speaking, Elena Kolesneva familiarized those present with the work of the Parliament of the Republic of Belarus, its structure and functions. She spoke about the new legislative proposals which were under consideration in the Parliament, explained the procedure for their consideration and approval.

In the process of communicating with the deputy, the academy workers were interested in a number of issues. In particular, questions were asked related to the cancellation of the state duty for admission of vehicles to participate in road traffic from passing technical inspection of cars, as well as the improvement of the road surface in the city and the lighting of streets.

Elena Kolesneva tried to answer the questions, sometimes she took notes with the aim of forwarding them to the structures and organizations of the city, which are responsible for these areas.

In general, it's necessary to note that such meetings have become a good tradition. They allow people to be aware of the work of the Parliament, and people's elected representatives can be able to see the problems and aspirations of voters and, by virtue of their powers, assist in their solutions.

The staff of the academy thank Elena Kolesneva for this format of communication and hopes for further fruitful cooperation.
