The contest to participate in FULBRIGHT programme for Belarusian higher school graduates in 2021 – 2022

The USA Embassy in Minsk announces a contest to participate in the programme of senator Fulbright for Belarusian higher school graduates and young professionals for the purpose of obtaining a Master degree in 2021-2022 academic year. The necessary condition to participate in the programme is having a Bachelor’s degree. Fulbright programme provides financing throughout the programme, which includes tuition fees, cost of air tickets, scholarship, and medical insurance. The interested applicants must fill in an online form before September, 1, 2020.

The programme allows the participants to study and conduct research for two years in universities of the USA for the purpose of obtaining Master degree in the fields of economy, education, ecology policy and management, international relations, journalism and mass media, law, library science, and some others. The participants are selected on the results of the open competition.
In addition to scholarships, internships will be available on a competitive basis. The contest will be held in the USA after the participants have started their studies.
The Fulbright programme participants go to the United States with J-1 visa, which obliges the owner to return to the country of residence after completing the internship for at least two years.
Qualification requirements:

  • Belarusian citizenship and place of living at present time
  • Fluent English speaking and writing
  • Completed higher education and the degree which is equivalent to Bachelor’s degree

The selection of candidates for participation in the Fulbright programme is carried out in the Department of information, education, and culture of the USA Embassy in Minsk.   The successful candidates will be invited for an interview in September 2020.
